Is a Chinchilla Right for Me?

Question
I have a two-story house with a dog. The dog enjoys eating squirrels and
rabbits and barks occasionally. He is not allowed upstairs, so I would probably
keep a chinchilla there, but I don't want  to stress it out. Should I get a
chinchilla?

I would not recommend getting a Chinchilla with your dog in the same home. Chinchillas need out side cage time daily and this may be hard and stressful with a dog around. Although many rodents and other animals get along fine Chinchilla's are more easily scared and can go into shock as well easier. I would highly recommend reading up in Chinchillas as much as possible and then making your decision from there.
