Do chinchillas and ferrets get along?

thank you for your question.
I would keep them very well seperated. The chinchillas are probably scared by the ferrets, who after all are predators, and the ferrets may look upon the chinchillas as prey or things to play with. Letting them run around together is probably a very bad idea and I wouldn't house them in the same room.
