My pregnant mouse due any day

Question
I have a pregnant mouse that is due this week sometime. I have done over 4 hours of research online to find info with no luck. I know all I need to know about her except what kinds of things she will do just before having her babies. I have her isolated in her own habitat with comfy bedding, plenty of different foods and water and have been watching her very carefully. Is there any signs to look for that will tell me how soon she will be giving birth?

Answer
Hi!

The duration of mice's pregnancy is generally 19 days. There's no absolutely certain way you can be sure when your mouse is ready to give birth, as it's very mouse-dependant. Some females tend to rest near the water bottle before they go into labor, some go rest in their nest. It's very important not to disturb the mother during that time and at least three days after the birth! You'll most definitely hear the little ones once they've been born. Good luck! :-)
