Young friendly mice keep squeezing through wire cage which is 2 level with play tube we have tried to cover but extremeley difficult -they dont seen to go far as yet. Please help with any advice   many thanks   Donna

Dear Donna,

There is nothing to do but put the mice in a cage with closer bars or in a solid cage.  Your cage is probably built for hamsters or gerbils instead of mice.  Mice are so flexible they can squeeze through an opening as small as their skulls. There is no way to teach the mice not to escape, and any escape can lead to any number of fatal disasters.
