hives from mice

is it possible to get infections such as reacuring hives from mice infestation in your home.

Hives are an allergy, which is not an infection.  It is quite possible to be allergic to mice and get hives. Even if you have no contact with the mice, their dander, urine and droppings can cause an allergic reaction.  The hives would be recurring because you sometimes come into contact with the allergens and sometimes not.  Try taking Benadryl, a very mild anti-histamine, the next time this occurs, to see if the hives go away.  If they do, it is an allergy.
