mice seizure

i think my mouse has been having seizures... it has happened twice now. once was when there was a lot of people around and once with just me. its almost like she is playing dead. do mice even do that? what causes her to flip on her back and curl up in a ball and have these weird spasms? is she sick?

Dear Sara,

She is definitely having seizures.  There is nothing you can do except  make sure she doesn't fall or hurt herself when it happens.  People can live their whole lives even though they get seizures, so she won't necessarily die from this.  She might still have a long life ahead of her.
