FMR water dish

About one month ago I bought an FMR water dish. I noticed it was looking strange on the bottom, so I took it out, emptied it of the water, and saw there were lots of little bubbles on the bottom of it. I picked at one of those, smelled it, and it did not smell like water. I was wondering if you thought it was safe for them to use.

It's hard to say what those bubbles where without having seen them. It might be that they were just airbubbles, especially if some tiny algae had started top grow in the dish (not necessarily visible). The water dishes made by FMR are safe for crabs in any case, they don't use anything that is harmful or could leak into the water.
