play sand and bedding

is normal play sand ok to use like the one in the craft store or the toy store? and the one that i have the calcium-sand that sticks to him and his shell and whenever i mist him but i don't mist the sand so how do i stop it from doing it? and what bedding should i use because i have a half and half thing one half i have sand other i have cypress bedding is that ok?

Playsand from the toy store is fine but you should dampen it a bit, so that it sticks together. Don't mist your crab, but rather if you need to boost humidity, mist the insides of the tank walls and the decorations.

Coconut fiber bedding and sand are the best substrates, cypress bedding is not okay, they are sensitive to chemicals in pine-type trees.
