plz tell me everything you know

Answer
Hi Melissa-
With the female (Kitty) the weight is the most important factor, and it correlates with age.  Try to find a candy scale or something that weighs small amounts (about 10 kilos or 20 pounds or less).  If she is 1.5pounds she is good to go.  That comes around 4 -5 months.  The minimum weight is so she is physically capable of sustaining the pregnancy.  The male could get her pregnant now, it only takes one "hit."  Just keep an eye on her, watch for weight gain, etc.  Chances are he didn't breed her due to the fact that she is only in heat every 7-12 days, but you never know.  Once she reaches weight, introduce him into the cage for several weeks and as long as he is still attempting to breed her, leave him in for 3-4 weeks.  That will give her enough time to complete 2 cycles, therefore 2 possibilities to be bred.  Gestation is 68-70 days, and usually you can feel the babies kicking after about half that time (1 month).  If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask, I didn't know how in depth you wanted me to go with this, as she isn't pregnant yet - we hope:)
