weird noises

well, the guinea pigs name is Mitzi and i have had her for about five weeks now and she has been making these weird noises kind of like hard breathing and i dont know whats wrong with her i looked at some websites that have guinea pig sounds but no noise seems to match im not sure if she just scared,because i also have two little dogs but one always barks at her i try my best to keep him away frm her but he seems to always get to her, i dont know what it is but i scares me she makes those noices,i just got her so i dont want to lose her,please help me help her!!!!!

From what you tell me it sounds like Mitzi is very scared of your barking dog and I'm not surprised.

Of course, take her to a vet if you are concerned for her health but I would say just make sure Mitzi is in a place where the dog cant harrass her, or ensure the dog gets used to the guinea pig being there so doesnt bark.
