i asked shawntiah about introducing a male guinea pig to my male guinea at the moment and there was one thing i forgot to mention to her as i saw on a site that it says do not introduce an ADULT male to another ADULT male only introduce a baby male to an ADULT male otherwise they will fight until one dies .. is this true?

It can be true, but it needn't get that far as before two pigs fight they do a ritual involving chattering teeth, stamping feet etc, at which point you can intervene.

Regarding what the site says, two adult males can be put together and may get on but this depends on their individual characters. One thing though, dont put another male into the first male's cage, introduce on neutral territory and be prepared to intervene.
