Guinea pigs and candles

I know that air fresiners and deoderizers will cause an URI but what about candles?

Answer
Anything that emits a scent like a candle, deodorizers, etc are not good for your pig. And of course there's always the danger of fire with a candle burning anywhere.  If you're wanting to use something like that because of cage odor use Fabreze.  The spray is very good at removing odors but doesn't leave a lingering scent.  Just don't spray it close to the pigs.  Cover the cage with a towel or something to protect the pig from any spray.
