shedding :(

my male guinea pig, Ceaser is shedding a lot...and i mean a lot!!!
I'm getting very worried!!!!:(

Umber,

Don't worry about the shedding it is normal. With warmer weather coming Guinea Pigs shed a lot, or even it being to warm in the house they shed a lot.

Just brush Ceaser a little extra like twice a day for a week then cut it down to every other day twice a day. That'll keep the shedding down to manageable. Both my girls are shedding a lot, by the time I am done brushing them and handling then I have enough hair on me to make one adult Guinea pig and a baby Guinea Pig.

So the shedding is normal and he just needs a little extra brushing with a stiff brush.
