can my guinea pigs have an oak playhouse?

We live way out in the country with alot of timber. I've got a piece of a hollow oak tree. Can they have it?

Answer
There's no reason I am aware of that your pigs can't have an oak playhouse. Being a hardwood it should last for many years, unlike the pine that we use on the west coast. And because it's hollow it should already be completely dried out.

How nice that Mother Nature has made you such a perfect hidey hole at a price that can't be beat!
