Pregnant Dwarf Hamster and sister

My mom just got us two female dwarf hamsters (about 8-12 weeks old) from the same litter.  We think one was already pregnant when we got them.  Can I keep the sisters together if one has babies or do I have to separate them?  If I have to separate them, can they be reunited after the babies are bigger?

Hi,

No you don't need to seperate them. Since they're dwarfs they will live together if one or both is pregnant. You may find the other hamster will help out too with the raising of the pups. If you seperate them they may not live together again if you put them back together.
