syrian hamster-tumour

my daughter has a 3 yr old syrian hamster.we have noticed that her belly is very large and their is a bruising effect under the skin.the hamster doesnt seem to be in pain.can you tell us if this could be a tumour.thanx

    Yes, this is probably a tumor and givin' the age of your hamster, the bruising effect under the skin and the swelling of her belly, she is more than likely getting ready to pass. This can take anywhere from a few days to a month or even more. It just depends on her.
