1st time mother........!

hello i wrote to u yesterday and i thought u ought to know all of them died:( but while i was cleaning the remains out i found 1 still alive!but from nose and mouth was gone! so i was wondering if u knew anything like why they did this?well we are trying again and maybe we will have some more soon!

the pups could have been sick and not healthy enough to survive. Also gerbils are cannibals as well and I don't know if you have the father in there or not but sometimes the father can harm the pups too. It's not rare that a whole litter dies, that's why gerbils breed quickly because a lot of times some will survive, others won't.
