Gerbil Licking

The other day when I took my gerbil out, she started licking my hand!? Is this a good or bad thing or did I just taste good?

It may be that she can taste salt on your hands and that this is what she wants, so maybe getting a salt/mineral lick from your local pet shop is a good idea. It will allow her all the salt she wants and she should stop licking your hands.
