hamsters dropping fur

Hi, I have 2 hamsters. They are about 6 months old. I notice that 1 of them is dropping fur. It seems to be from the back. I have been using the same brand of bedding since i bought them. Can you tell me what are the other possible reasons that it is dropping fur?

What type of bedding are you using? If it's ceder or pine they are probably having allergic reactions to it and causing him to lose fur. Also, are the hamsters fighting? Does the hamsters skin look normal or scaley and flakey? If the hamster's skin looks normal than I would consider looking at the fact that he has allergies and it could be the bedding. I would consider taking him to a vet if you don't think it's the bedding I would consider taking him to a vet.
