shaking hamsters

I have a question about my male hamster Hammy.he never shakes when i hold him,but today its different.whenever i hold him he shakes like crap!!!!Im really worried about him!!!!i really want to know if hes sick,hurt,or all the sudden frightend.thanks

It sounds like he may be frightened by something. I do know sometimes a hamster will shake when they are afraid. If he does this for more than a day then I would certainly call a vet. I the hamster eating and drinking normally otherwise? The reason why I ask is if the hamstr is not eating or drinking than he's probably sick. If he's normal otherwise except for shaking than he may just be frightened about something.
