two hamsters

i purchased a female long-hair teddy hamster about 4 months ago. Now, i just bought another long-hair teddy hamster but it's a male. So, i just wondering is it safe to put them together because when i put them together sometimes they fight sometimes not. Thanks

Please separate them immediately.

Your 'Teddy Bear' hamsters are actually long haired Syrians.

Syrian hamsters can not be housed together - they must live alone - they do not need a friend and will not get lonely.

Each hamster must be housed in their own cage.

If these hamsters are kept with another hamster they will fight and eventually kill each other.

If you are trying to breed these hamsters then please get back to me for more advise but firstly please separate them immediately for their own safety.
