Not another one!!

My poor daughter has had three hamsters--two of whom died--one only after having him for two days.  We discovered it could have been the cedar chips we were using.  This time we got an entire new cage--bedding the pet store used and food they used--and we got an older hamster.  She is seventten years old and does not handle them nor does she smouch them to much.  She recieved a hamster--the third one--on Christmas and today noticed his nose is sort of red and his one eye is shut. He is also making some weezing sounds.  Please tell me this one is not going to die and that it is something simple to fix.

the hamster has serious respiratory problms and should see a vet asap. if you don't the hamster to a vet it won't live. it's never really good to buy small animals around the holidays because they are more likely to get sick due to all the stress they endure from customers constantly waking them up and disturbing their sick so a lot of times their immune system is already low.
