hamster noise

Question
my hamster is 6 months old. is a Syrian type. she make some strong squeaking when asleep recently and wondering what it means?

thank you for your question.
I would recommend seeing a vet with the hamster as soon as possible. Usually, hamsters don't make any noise at all. They may squeak when they are dreaming, but that only happens rarely. If she is squeaking all the time while she sleeps, it's very possible that she has a respiratory infection or some other health problem.
