Question
i went to my hamster there yesterday and there was no movent
in her at all she was cold and her eyes were shut but was a
little bit stif i had her 3 and a half years i baried her in
my back garden because she looked to be dead the next day i
went on the internet about dwarf hamster care and i came
across hamster in hibernation want i need to no is did my
ham-e died from old age or did i kill her

I'm sure you didn't kill your hamster.

Whilst hamsters can go into hibernation if their body temperature drops too much (it can occur during the winter months over night when the house temperature falls when the heating is switched off), with a hamster of this age I would think that she had died naturally.  Also, the fact that she appeared a bit stiff as this occurs when rigor mortis sets in is a sign that she was dead.

3 1/2 is a very good age for a hamster - I've only ever got mine to around 2 1/2 - 3 years of age.

Whilst i'm sorry that your hamster has died, I'm sure she had a good life with you and I'm sure you had nothing to do with her death.
