baby food

i give my ferrets chicken & turkey stage 2 baby food like a blop once a day. I was wondering if any baby food's ok like sweet potatoes, peas, etc. & is once a day ok? Thanks so much for all your help!

Baby food is ok for ferrets as long as they eat their other food as vegetables don't have the protein and nutrients that ferrets need.  The chicken and turkey is great.  It certainly doesn't hurt them to have the sweet potatoes and peas, etc. as a treat.  Actually, it's better then raisins.  Too much sugar in raisins.
