Can I sit my puppy on my lap for the trip home from the breeder?

you certainly can, but he will probably be nervous and may pee on you or go crazy. you will need a pet carrier for housebreaking to keep from accidents anyway, so i would suggest one for the ride home. the kind that is plastic with wire windows..not just the wire ones...sorry i missed that part of the question.
