Boston Terrier Diet

Question
I have just adopted a 3 year old Boston from a local stray rescue. She is absolutely such a good fit for my family and myself.
I am receiving many different recommendations for a health food for my new dog.  I have done some research about some of their digestive issues etc....I attempted to find a food with no grain very difficult.  Another BT owner recommended raw chicken, yogurt and a once a week fish.
Please let me know any advice for a healthy diet for our new addition to our family. Thank you

Answer
Hi Wendy
I personally use a combination....I use proplan sensitive skin  it is a salmon and rice...and I add to that boiled chicken or beef (and sometimes rice of my own) ... I cook the meat in the crock pot (on high for chicken and medium/low for beef) overnight with or without the rice, and add it to the food.  I am not crazy about processed food, but it does have some good added vitamins and minerals; so I use it as a base and add the rest. This way I have the best of both worlds and so does my dogs.
