average cost of a dogs vetbill

I aminterested in getting a dog but we are looking into the prices.

What is the average cost to take your dog to the vet for a check up?

it varies in price alot, but a check up could cost you maybe somewhere between 100 and 300 dollars (depends where you live)  Alot of vet offices have plans that you can join, the office i work at, you can pay 500 dollars up front then every month it is an adittional 25 dollars, Banfield (a nation wide vet office, normally located in petsmart) as a very similar plan.
