Kinds of pug mixes

Dear Dawn,

I would like to know what kind of pug mixes you would recommend.  I only know of a few like the pugapoo, but I would like to find out about more.  I currently have a pug and would like to get another dog that has a similiar appearence but and temperment along with low shedding.  

Any information that you could give me would be much appreciated.

Hi, as far as I've seen of the pug mixes out there, most tend to get the genetics of shedding from the pug.  As you know, since you own a pug (so do I) they are notorius shedders, especially when excited or stressed.  There are Pugle's (pug/beagle cross), but they also shed.  I believe that is a dominate gene, so that is why you are seeing it in other pug crosses.  Wish I could be of more help, and good luck in your search.
