Slugs and dogs

Question
I need to know if eating a slug would be toxic to my Boston Terrier, she only weighs 10 pounds.  If they are toxic, what would the symptoms be.  She has had a couple seizures in a row and then calms down, then foams at the mouth shivers, and then stops.

Hi Bridgette,  I wish I had gotten this sooner.  I hope your dog is ok.  Yes, slugs can be toxic if there has been any slug poison put out.  If the slug ingested poison, or if the dog found the poison herself, then she could easily be poisoned.  I hope everything turned out ok.
