preg or false

Question
Our chihuahua was bred and today if her 60th day.
Her nipples have liquid when sqeezed gently, she has been nesting, her temp for last 3 days has been running from 101 to 98.2, her stomach is not much bigger than normal, I can't feel any puppies for sure. She was "hooked" up at least 4 times with the male. Is this false preg or just need to give her a few more days? Please answer if you can, this is worse than being preg yourself. lol Thanks

The only way to be certain (other than waiting) is to have an X-ray done, which can be done any time after the bitch's 50th day. All those symptoms which scream PREGNANT can also occur with a false pregnancy. If this is a first pregnancy, puppies are often carried way up in the rib cage and it is hard to tell if the bitch is pregnant. The nice thing about X-rays is that you will know positively, and you will have a good idea of numbers (or not) and how large they might be, which is a nice thing to know with a small dog.
