rottie with dry skin

WE HAVE A 17 WEEK OLD ROTTIE PUP . HER NAME IS BROCKETTE SHE HAS BEEN DIGGING EVERE SINCE WE GOT HER. THE VET SAYED SHE HAS DRY SKIN. IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO FOR IT?

Hello Donna, if it is dry skin then I believe you achieve better results by treating the skin from within.  Meaning giving the dog a dry dog food designed to improve the skin, such as Natures Choice or name brands such as that.  Also she is a puppy and may require vitamin supplements.  You can find this also at most good pet stores. A bath is a temporary relief option, the change in food is a long term choice.
