chinese crested/blotchy pink skin

Hi Becky.  I am puppy sitting   a chinese crested until christmas eve for my
girlfriend. Dixie(5 months old)is a gift for her children. Her skin color is very
light with brown spots. So you can really see these pink shades across her
back, legs. Here and there. We live in CT. Is it the cold weather? Her diet as I
know for the last 3 days is Eucanuba and I gave her some Iams wet food. She
did come with a sweater from the breeder. Help. I have to send her off
tomorrow.

Hi Nancy,
You didn't say,  are you shipping her?  I would be very leery of shipping her in cold weather, actually I wouldn't do it.  Yes, cold weather can cause a pink shade on the body.  I would definetley put a sweater on her when she goes out, and only stay out long enough for her to "go".  I bet she is adorable!!  They will love her!!
