I cant walk my puppy

So I have 3month old male PitBull puppy and every day I want to take him for a walk but when I put the collar on him he just sits there and dont walk and when I pull the leash he trys to back away and he starts crying so I take the collar and the leash away and then he starts walking but i dont noe why he just walks by himself I want to walk him with a leash. what can i do?

please help me

If getting out in front and coaxing doesn't get a puppy moving, try dropping behind it and running by in baby steps calling ''Go, go, go!'' In a happy, excited voice.

Letting the dog run around the house with a leash on helps too.  Buy a cheap one and cut it down to 2-3 feet.  Be very careful the puppy doesn't get tangled up.
