white boxer

we have heard that the white boxers has a lot of health problems, like loosing their hearing. have also heard they are not recognize by the akc? are making a big mistake? we haven't heard of such a thing. they are just like any other boxer, as far as their health, aren't they.thank you tom & vicki ross

White boxers are not recognized by the AKC, because the breed standard stipulates that at least 2/3 of a boxer's color should be fawn or brindle. White boxers can still be registered and receive AKC papers, but they cannot be shown, and should not be bred. White boxers can sunburn easily, and can also be blind and/or deaf, but they do not have any higher instances of >>other<< health problems than colored boxers.
