Vet

Question
I have 2 Chihuahua's that I have had for about 14 years so they are very old. but they are still very active. my parents really couldnt afford to take them to the vet when i was younger. so now that i am 20 i can afford to take them myself but i'm afraid of what the vet might say. my dogs have never been neglected or anything but them being so old they have very little teeth and i fear that the vet would blame me. i've see animal shows where they take dogs away and i dont want that. they are my life. should i consult a vet. thanks in advance.

well you could just explain to the vet the situation,it would be different if they were very sick and you didn't call the vet-in that case yes,you could lose the dogs but from the sounds of it other then age they seem to be in not too bad shape

so just tell the vet the dogs were looked after as best as they could be,but never been to a vet
