miniature schnauzer grooming

Hi...My miniature schnauzer has just went into heat...Is it safe to have her groomed?  Thanks

Hello Waynette, absolutely, it actually may help keep her a little cleaner in that area, as the groomer should shave her privates.  Just be sure to let the groomer know so as you keep her away from any male dogs.  The heat cycle usually last 21 days, 7 days going in, 7 days to be breed, and 7 days going out.  Thanks for asking, Cindy lou :)
