groomng very short-haired chihuhua

I am 67 and physically challenged.  I cannot take my Missy outside or get into the floor with her.  I need to find something that will stick to hair as I brush her and not just brush it into my lap.  Her hair is so short nothing works.  My vet recommended a yucca mitt which I cannot find.  Can you help,please?

Hello, This is going to sound odd but have you tryed one of those roll sticky tape things you use to take lint and hair off your cloting on her? this isn't sticky enough to hurt her... just enough if rolled over her coat should remove loose hairs. Also a damp cloth would remove dead hairs as well.
