Michelle, yes, it's very possible that the female could have been bred by your puppy. This is one of the main reasons for having your dog neutered before he reaches sexual maturity. If I were you, I would go ahead and do that now, so something like this doesn't happen again.

Depending on how long ago they mated, it may be possible to take the female to the vet and have her pregnancy terminated. I would recommend that she be spayed, too.
