female bites male

i have a one year old female yorkie and we just brought home a 4 month old male yorkie. she bites him out of jealosy if i touch him in front of him. can i do anything? she has never been in heat either. are male and females ok together?

Yes males and females are good together,in fact are better then two dogs of the same sex

What you can try is to spend a lot of time with the female alone,as well as playing with her alone so she doesn't feel left out,then gradually include the male so she will see thast he isn't a threat
