Question
I'm concerned about my family dog Bruno who is a 7 year old jack russell. He has this little shivering or shaking thing that ever since we've had him he's randomly done but it was never a concern according to our vet. The thing that is starting to concern me is that it appears to be happening more often and he has also started to pee around the house. Usually we wake up and find that he has peed on the couch and we have ruled it out as him needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Personally I'm concerned because it seems to be happening more often but he doesn't seem to be in any pain and other than that his behavour is normal. Should I be worried?

Answer
I think it might be hypothyroidism-I had a dog that had these symptoms, and after many months,it turned out to be hypothyroidism

Believe me,it will save you a lot of money if you ask your vet to test for hypothyroidism first,as it is an inexpensive test, and is controlled with medication for the rest of his life, but again it is inexpensive

Hypothyroidism is one of the most common health problems in dogs, but because every dog has different symptoms, they ofter think it;s something else
