marking in house

Question
I have a 5 month old puggle.  I've had him for about a month.  I also have a 2 year old pug.  The housetraining with the puggle was going pretty good with very few accidents in the house.  I'm crate training him.  He was neutered on Thursday of last week and ever since he got home after the surgery he's been peeing on everything in the house even though I'm still taking him outside frequently and praising him for going outside.  He's peeing in front of me in the house still.  He even peed in his crate tonight.  I don't want to get rid of him but I don't know what to do.  Please help.

Answer
Jen, sometimes dogs can become incontinent for a short while after being spayed or neutered. However, you may want to call and talk to your vet about it; it sounds like he may have a bladder or urinary tract infection. Both can be treated with antibiotics, but a urine culture must be done to be sure that's what is actually going on.
