pug nose

Question
i have a mixed terrier/pug the only pug part is nose and tail and maybe demeanor. the question is sometimes at nite he wakes me up like he's choking and can't breath i call it a snuffaluffigus. it doesn't happen alot but when it does it scares me to death. he will be 2 next month.

It could be reverse sneezing. Have you had him checked to make sure he doesn't have a problem with his esophogas or breathing passages? vet him to be SURE there is no problem physically. If he checks out fine, then just ignore his little habit :)
