broken ear?

I do not think this is as medical question, bgut if you feel if is please tell me!  My cairn terrier puppy has one ear up and one ear down.  I don't know what happened, he plays rough with my other terrier.  Will this be a permanent condition?  I noticed his ear being down 2 days ago, he is 9 weeks old.  Thank You, Jo McBrien

It is not unusual for puppy ears to do strange things, but if it was damaged during play, it probably will not go up.

I would glue moleskin or something similar to the inside of the ear to help prop it back up, but you really need to talk to your breeder to get help on what to do with this ear. If your own breeder isn't readily available, here is a list of good breeders.
