we just got a puppy 9 weeks old and every time she poops she goes back to it to try to eat it what can we do to stop this

The medical term is Coprophagia and the best solution is one you won't like... go out with the dog and pick up the waste as soon as she's done.  There are commercial products that you can sprinkle on her food that makes the poop unpaletable (hard to think that poop ever is paletable) or you can sprinkle her food with Adolph's meat tenderizer (it does the same stuff as the commercial products).  However, if your dog doesn't have access to her poop, she can't eat it.  One the good side, puppies sometimes out grow this, so maybe she will be one of those.
