Feeding a chihuahua

Question
I have a one year old chihuahua. He is extremely picky and does not eat too
much. I also have a five month old and she eats a ton. I keep reading about the
commercial dog food scares and am willing to prepare their meals if that is the
best choice for them. What do you recommend is very safe and healthy for
them?

You can prepare their foods if you choose from BARF and RAW diet menus. I suggest the book "Give your dog a bone". Also, visit www.barfworld.com

As for commercial dog food scares, you are RIGHT to be scared! Most commercial dog food I would not touch with a ten foot pole. There are some very good food  choices out there however, like:
