please help me my 5 month old Pekingese is a very poor eater i make her chicken and sweet potatoes and broccoli that she was eating but now she barely eats anything i am so worried

Hi Trina,

You didn't say if you're also feeding your puppy a puppy food.
Puppies are still growing, and require a special diet for their first full year. If you are only feeding your puppy chicken and sweet potatoes and broccoli, all of her nutritional requirements may not be met.

Is your puppy finicky (a learned behavior)or is she refusing food? Is your puppy teething? While a puppy is teething, she may become a finicky eater or loose her appetite.

Not wanting to eat anything isn't normal. If this has been going on for more than two days, you should have your puppy examined by your veterinarian to rule out a medical problem.
