boxer dog swallowed a bounchy ball

Question
hi my boxer has swallowed a bouncy ball made of solid rubber  its a little bit smaller than a golf ball,I've taken him to my vet and she doesn't seem overly concerned about it and has told me if he starts vomiting bring him back right away, but im still abit worried that it will get stuck in him if he tries to poop it out, is there anything you could advise me on please?

Answer
I'm glad you consulted your vet already.  As I state, I have no medical background, but my opinion is that if the object made it through the trachea, airways etc without causing any problem (choking, suffocation, etc) it probably will have no difficulty being passed through the bowel.  I think there is more flexibility to the bowel in which it can pass objects that might normally get stuck in the airway.
