male dog in heat

what do i do if my male dog is in heat and wouldn't stop barking and how long  he would be in heat.

Hello Etora;
There is no such thing as a "Male in Heat"!
I think you mean there is a female in the area, and making your dog nuts over the scent!!!
He will not stop tracking the female for about two weeks or more.
So, I suggest, that you get a crate, and train him while he is in this mode,
And or, move him away from the area he is obviously able to smell the female...
Also, you can buy some "Vicks" vapor rub, and put it under his nose, and it will keep the smell down some!
