Chihuahua puppy

I think my six week old puppy has a fractured pelvis or something to that effect. His temp is 100.4. Is this something that can wait till morning for me to get to my vet i am positive i can get an appointment and is there anything i can give him for pain till then?

Hi Jackie,

You have discovered the reason why it's a very poor idea to wait for an answer from an online help line. There's no telling when you might get a response! In the mean time, your puppy has suffered needlessly.

A broken bone is an emergency, you don't need an appointment from your vet to be seen, but you may have to call to let the vet's office know you're coming in.

If you haven't yet called your vet, please do so without delay.
